Travel documents

You are responsible for holding a valid passport and any visa required for the country you are travelling to, or travelling through in transit. Ask the competent authorities, or check with us, in good time so the visa can be obtained before departure. Keep your documents, money and personal luggage with you throughout the trip.

Give us your names exactly as they appear in your passport. A shortened or incomplete name often makes an airline ticket invalid, and a new ticket is then issued at your own expense.

Baggage

On charter flights you carry up to 15 kg of luggage plus one piece of hand luggage; on scheduled flights the allowance is 20 kg, unless the program states otherwise. On bus travel you carry one travel bag of up to 20 kg plus one piece of hand luggage. The carrier charges for anything above the allowance, or may refuse to carry it if there is no space.

Commercial goods, food, drinks, medicines, narcotics, chemical and flammable substances, weapons, animals and plants are not allowed as luggage. You look after your own luggage during the trip; we are not liable for luggage that is damaged or lost, so we recommend travel insurance with luggage cover, which you can arrange at our office.

Flights

Travel on scheduled flights is in economy class. If an airline changes the departure time or an aircraft is delayed, the applicable air transport rules apply; we cannot be held responsible for the consequences of a delay. Keep your ticket and boarding pass safe — duplicates cannot be issued.

At the hotel

Rooms are normally available from 14:00 on the day you arrive and are vacated by 10:00 on the day you leave, unless the property's house rules say otherwise. If you have not booked a room with specific features, any officially registered room of the booked category may be assigned. We will pass on requests about floor, orientation or comfort, but they cannot be guaranteed.

Health and insurance

Ask the competent health institution about the health requirements for your destination, including any vaccination or health document. If you fall ill or have an accident during the trip, treatment and any medical intervention are at your own cost. We therefore recommend travel insurance, which can be paid at our office.

If you want cover against having to cancel, the cancellation-risk policy must be arranged and paid at the same time as the payment for your trip.

Payment and cancellation
